One of the big requests we’ve gotten in the RequestBox is something we like to call a ReadyStack. For example, a fully configured Django ReadyStack gives you a ‘ready-to-go’ solution where you can just deploy your application and not have to struggle through the setup.

Its amazing how much stuff is installed now to get a rails environment going, so we really want to automate this process, the big idea behind this – is that whenever you add a webby to your system you can have a ready-to-deploy environment. This will be great, when creating on-the-fly webbys whenever you need to scale up if you’ve been dugg or slashdotted.

As Beta Testers, we’d like to hear from you guys. What constitutes a Perfect setup for a Rail Stack, Django Stack and Mail Stack? These are the ones we’re working on, and we’d like to hear some ideas.
